Soil Carbon Projects up and running in Central Queensland

Central Queensland beef producers, Andrew & Meagan Lawrie, are amongst the first graziers to get involved with soil carbon projects. They estimate that their on-property income will grow by 50% through the sale of ACCUs and increased beef production generated by the sequestration of carbon into the soil. Not only will the project be financially beneficial, but the Lawrie’s can also look forward to greater sustainability and regeneration of their land, and they’ll be helping improve everyone’s environmental outlook though offsetting global carbon emissions.
