Great little clip showing how carbon moves through the soil ecosystem. It
is talking about how crops can be CO2 deficient when growth demand is high
and it will need CO2 from the soil as well as the air. CO2 is looked as as
a limiting nutrient.
If a soil has higher Organic carbon levels and better structure it will diffuse more
CO2 out to the stomata to be captured once more and converted into more
plant carbon … The result at the end of the season is more carbon has been
produced and dumped into the soil. A neat way to look at it.
