Beef Australia 2024: “Health – From the Ground Up”

“Health – From the Ground Up” – A Practitioner’s Perspective, unpacks the global challenges of social health, human health, and environmental health, and their relation to the international agrifood industry. Prof. Gilliland outlines his approach to data capture and analysis to achieve accurate and reliable benchmarking of individual farm carbon positions. Empowered with empirical data farmers can better manage their production and move toward a Net Zero Carbon position while servicing multiple goods on human and environmental health.

Prof. John Gilliland is the owner of Brook Hall Estate & Gardens and has spent his career developing innovative sustainable land management strategies over the past 30 years which he has developed and implemented at Brook Hall.
